All in the Handshake -- Jack Colley

Today, I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Mr. Jack Colley, THE Chief of The Governor’s Division Of Emergency Management. He is someone I truly admire. I love this man. He stopped into our SPI Emergency Operations Center to thank our Team for the tremendous job we are doing. As the only woman on our team, that means a lot to me. He gave me one of the firmest handshakes I've ever had. Our team is a very capable team, but much of our confidence stems from the trust we have in his leadership.

I promise I'll get back to writing about Brownsville very soon once this "storm" passes.

Here is a quote of interest for your blog!!!!

The Mayor's constant spin on the border wall issue is a cry for help! He has no support and will never get it as long as he makes false statements and uses his position to grandstand and seek out weak individuals who would hear his rhetoric. Any reasonable person with a hint of intelligence can see the Mayor's fruttal attempt to gather support. Besides the dog lovers, his base has dwindled to almost nothing. People like me who pushed hard for him are disgusted with his behavior. His character and leadership for Brownsville has sent us back to the wild western days. How pathetic and distasteful his actions have been!!

YOU ARE WONDERFUL MELISSA ZAMORA - for those that don't know, Melissa kept the island informed and up to date on all information. She did a terrific and selfless job for everybody out here. "We got the Powa" at our house yesterday at 6pm - come out (when they say you can), the businesses sure would love to see you and the beach and ocean are beautiful. BTW, Willie Nelson is the headliner for the October 2nd annual SPI International Music Festival, make plans now. Thanks again Melissa!!! - A

Not sure. But I'll try to use it in a sentence.

Bloggers currently view Good-Time Chuck's laughable attempts to distance himself from Ahumada as fruttal.

There. How'd I do?
