The City of Brownsville is collecting damage assessment information on its website. Damages to your property may be submitted at
www.cob.us or e-mailed at dolly@cob.us.
However, the online form does not state how the information will be utilized. I believe the info will be provided to FEMA so that it could be decided whether or not to declare our area a Category C Disaster. Category C allows for individual assistance from FEMA. A Category B Disaster Declaration was made for South Texas, which allows for FEMA assistance for damages to government/public property.
