Ozanam Center Open for Those Seeking Shelter
The Ozanam Center located at 656 N. Minnesota Ave. is open 24 hours/365 days a year.
Of the 187 beds they have available, they currently have 120 beds left for those seeking shelter from the cold weather. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at no cost.
If you know anyone needing shelter, please call (956) 504-7405, and free transportation will be provided if needed.
If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Shelter in the morning at (956) 831-6331.

Blanket/Clothing Drive
All blankets, socks, hats, shoes, sweaters, coats, anything that can protect from the cold weather will be greatly appreciated. Items to go to Brownsville families, especially children, ASAP in light of the upcoming cold snap.
Items may be dropped off through 10 a.m. Friday at Putegnat Elementary School, 730 E. 8th St. For more info, call (956) 548-8930.
